Bianca Salvant chose Florida A&M University in spring 2007 for its prestigious journalism program. She initially wanted to be a news journalist, but soon learned magazine writing was her forte’. Born in the city that never sleeps, Bianca eventually moved to Tampa, Fla. Her transition to ‘The Hill’ wasn’t difficult.  The Big Apple transfer comes from a family of many different shades and has learned to embrace every aspect of culture.

Her dedication and hustle to succeed led her to the No. 1 college magazine in the region, Journey. At 22, she is living her life to the fullest as she approaches graduation, December 16, 2011.

Bianca intends to move back to New York in January.
