It was no surprise when Morgan Grain announced to her family that she would be attending FAMU. Born into a family of prideful Rattlers, Morgan knew since she was 5-years-old that she would one day make her mark on the campus of Florida A&M University. A native of Atlanta, by way of Orlando, she is no stranger to perseverance, hard work and dedication. Excelling in sports such as basketball and track and an active participant in community service projects, Morgan graduated with an International Baccalaureate Diploma when finishing high school. She finds her greatest pleasure in traveling and writing. Always inspired by expanding her knowledge of the world and learning about diverse cultures and ethnicities, Morgan has visited 11 countries and does not plan to stop any time soon. She believes that she is the only obstacle in her path to greatness and does not allow negative opinions of others to influence her self-perception. Fluent in the language of sarcasm and a strong believer in personal opinion, Morgan wishes to attain phenomenal triumph with just a pen and paper.
