Wilken didn’t start college as a graphic designer, but loved drawing and computers so much he decided to leave his architecture major behind and give his true passion a shot. Since making the switch, Wilken has created designs for different campus organizations like Every Nation Campus Ministries, Wesley Foundation, and nationally recognized T-shirt company “Without Jesus I Suck.” Although his design experience in architecture has helped to some degree; he still think it’s his love and passion to learn more that makes him successful. His dream is to freelance all around the world and create designs for different companies. But if that does not happen, he says working for major companies like Proctor & Gamble, or Ron Sachs would be “awesome” too. He calls being a part of the top college magazine in the region “a mind-blower.” He describes Journey as a challenging experience so far but a great opportunity to grow.
