Hailing from Winter Park, Florida, Keshawn Cummings, an architecture scholar, thinks he has the illustrious qualities of being FAMU’s Finest. Keshawn came to FAMU with a strong desire to be surrounded by like-minded individuals … people who look like him and are on the same journey of educating themselves and helping the community. Choosing FAMU helped him become more self-confident and gave him the ability to do a complete 360 in how he sees himself. Ever since he became a Rattler, he began working out and got out of his shell by becoming more social.
The new Keshawn he had become, started doing bigger things, such as joining Boyz of Poison and becoming a part-time model. Looking good and dancing are not the only things he does for his extracurriculars. Keshawn does community service on campus, cleaning up after every sports event and Set Friday, truly caring for the university.
Inside the pretty boy who does campus cleaning lies a huge anime nerd, as he has two anime tattoos on his chest showing his appreciation for the shows Naruto and One Piece. One fun fact about Keshawn is that his favorite animal is a sea turtle, as it coincides with his personality of being adventurous and always going with the flow.
Keshawn is a friend to everyone and always wants to lend a helping hand. The romantic side of him is an ambitious person who is always ready to try new things or do anything adventurous with his partner. From theme parks to new restaurants, he’s down for whatever.
With a heart of gold, his character speaks for itself. He believes the title is not only about good looks, but being willing to help others and make people’s dreams come true is what truly makes him FAMU’s Finest.
