FAMU’s Finest: Alexandra Is Looking For Her ‘Muse’

There’s no mistake that her last name happens to be Muse, because that is exactly what she is. When you look at Alexandra Muse, you may as well consider yourself looking at a melanin goddess with a delightful harmonizing aura, and a glowing smile to match.

 From the same city of Florida A&M herself, Muse is a Tallahassee native. She is currently a sophomore student majoring in Psychology with a minor in Public Relations. Success is definitely in her future as she aspires to work with and for the youth. Muse expresses how she wants to own her own school for girls which will not solely focus on academics, but the mental health of young girls.

“We go through a lot, but not a lot of stuff is addressed and it’s kind of swept under the rug,” Muse said. “I want to touch on those topics that people tend to disregard.”

 Aside from studying in psychology and public relations, Muse is also active on campus in other ways. She currently serves on the royal court for The Alpha Xi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi as Miss Diamond for the 2019-2020 academic school year. On top of having a prestigious title, Muse excels off campus as a manager at Chick-fil-a – talk about a balancing queen!

Coming out of a three-year relationship just last year, Muse is not afraid to say that she has been taking the time to refocus and realign herself. The idea of focusing on her academics in order to earn multiple degrees and becomes her best self in the end is very important to Muse. Nonetheless, Muse does plan on marrying and having as many kids as she is able to afford.

 If you have a soft spot for Virgos, Ms. Muse is your girl! When it comes to Virgos, they pay attention to small details and hold a sense of humanity. According to astrology, a Virgo’s greatest overall compatibility is with a Pisces or Cancer. Muse admits that she is a believer in astrology and says that some of the descriptions and characteristics are very factual – and she certainly is not afraid to ask you when your birthday is so that she is able to have a sense of your compatibility. Muse loves to have fun and be adventurous. Indulging in activities like being in an amusement park or even in a museum is definitely her cup of tea. She loves creativity and engaging and learning things that she is not used to. We love an open-minded queen!

 Growing up as a Preacher’s Kid, Muse is no stranger to God and Faith. With a mother as a preacher, being in church every day of the week growing up is something that she is very familiar with. 

“If you don’t believe in God, or have some type of relationship with him, it’s a turn off for me,” she explains. “I’m going in the opposite direction because I just feel like you can’t possibly have a successful relationship with someone who doesn’t even feel the same way that you do about God.” 

She says as she makes it clear that any gentleman, she is with must be God fearing.

 If you do not know anything about Alexandra Muse, you must know that she will always make herself a spot, regardless if you provide one for her or not.

It is clear that she is FAMU’s Finest, and a force to be reckoned with.
